WORKSHOP
with Rachel Brown
We had our first long awaited, in person workshop with photographer Rachel Brown. The process to set up the Cambo film cameras takes time, and so it encourages you to run through the procedure as accurately as possible, paying close attention to the composition, lighting and focus. The down side to this type of camera however is that you are only able to produce one image at a time which requires developing within the dark room. In doing this, you have a responsibility and more active involvement in the image making process, that can be lacking when working with digital photography.
