When visiting the Manufactured Exhibition, I came across a body of work that caught my interest. Umae Habiba's imagery explores the insatiable desire for material possessions, with a particular focus on clothing and its environmental, social, and economic implications. Habiba states that her goal for this project was to raise awareness about individual involvement in the negative effects of consumerism. These images have a strong visual impact and convey a sense of confinement, particularly the image of the individual surrounded by clothes.
